History Of Breast Enlargement Surgery
A fact that isn’t commonly known is that breast enlargement surgery has been commonly available since the late nineteen twenties. Originally the procedure involved injecting human fat directly into the breasts but this technique was not very effective as the human body just absorbed the fat and displaced it throughout the body. This technique was later abandoned twenty years later in favor of the rising popularity of the silicone breast enlargement implants.

The silicone enlargement surgery was hoped to be successful as the look and feel of the breasts were much more natural than anything that had been created to date. Silicone enlargement implants were put in to use at approximately the same time as the poly sponges and were met with dismal results. This technique was quickly abandoned as many of the women who had the breast enlargement surgery suffered very deadly complications.

However it was in the nineteen sixties that the silicone and more popular saline breast enlargement implants were created. This method was again available as a new technique for inserting the breast enlargement implants was discovered. The material used in the 60’s has mostly stayed the same as most of the changes have been to the design of the breast enlargement implants.
